Tappa'C was born Clinton Buckley 1982 at Belmont Hospital N.S.W Australia, Living his life all around Lake Maquarie and Central Coast.
Raised by his Mother and grew up with his little brother E.J, there was not much to do around Morisset where Tappa spent most of his child hood so he just hung out with mates around the block.
Tappa was more into sport then music when he was growing up it wasn't until he was 15 yrs old that he started listening to music all types, just to get a feel for it from blues, pop, rock, metal you name it. Mostly Tappa liked rap/hip hop such as 2Pac, Dre (NWA), Public Enemy, Snoop Dogg ect.
When Tappa turned 17 yrs he found Eminem and after listening to his tracks Tappa was hooked, it became his passion and when Eminem's track Brain Damage was played to Tappa thats when he was inspired and new he had to try hip hop.
Tappa and his mate Sneaky Kiwi started writing and performing mainly mucking around for family and friends they where called the white boyz, after some time they decided to do solo work as well.
A couple years past and the two boys parted different roads they had to follow and in 2008 they met back up.
Tappa didn't have a hard life but problems have always pursued the MC and a lot of shit has happened in his life,
mainly family problems such as his dad was always in and out of his life as well as Tappa was always the 3rd wheel pushed aside promised to be taken some where out for the day on trips ect and on the day he would be told there was no room for him, put down by his father and the partners his dad would have at that time, that's not easy for a child from the age of 4 and up (still to this day his dad believes he did nothing wrong).
his step dad and his little brothers father, was an alcoholic and spent most of his time at the local pub or club placing more responsibility on Tappa as he had to help his mother raise his younger brother and when his step dad would be home everyone had to walk on eggshells or all hell would break loss, this was hard for Tappa as a teenager forced to grow up to fast as he was looking after his brother as well as doing home duties and holding a casual job, school, sport and much more, at 18 yrs Tappa left home after being smacked in the mouth by his step dad that was the final straw.
Good things have also happened within Tappa's life as he met his now partner and mother of his children Amanda Tonkin and has had 3 beautiful girls Courtney-Jade, Rachael, and (Isabella who is Tappa's angel always looking over him R.I.P Isabella Daddy loves you).
Tappa's girls have all been an inspiration and a constant drive to achieve his dreams and make a better life for his family.
Tappa would like to shout out to his family, big sis Rebecca and her 2 boys Brodie an Talon, his other brother Luke Buckley, his little sis Brieha and all who have not been mentioned love and thanks to all cheers Tappa.
